Lewis Dunning was born in Ottawa on April 25, 1886 and he joined the Ottawa Fire Department on June 1, 1916. On August 2, 1930 after returning to Fire Station Number 11. Not feeling very well he lay down and died in his sleep during the night. He was married to and had X children
